Hamburg: The Sanella locomotive in a new light | Weblogy.de - Kay's Blog
The Sanella locomotive was a Betriebslok in margarine Union in Hamburg-Bahr hfec field. The operating license expired 1969. 2003 the locomotive at the Hamburg hfec Maritime Foundation was handed over, "Friends of the historic harbor lane e. V." is under the umbrella of the club.
The locomotive is driven without fire, but only with water vapor pressure. You then put it in the construction value that the locomotive looks like a real steam locomotive. Therefore, the chimney is used only for decoration.

Frau Momo I have there still some hope. Finally, one might still get in the HafenCity the remaining historical harbor cranes, also restored the "Youth in Action". In addition, the historic ships are a major attraction for the tourists. One may as well not save at the wrong end, if anything rinsed again money in the public purse.
Nice that the Sanella was still so photographed, hfec such as youth has painted hfec the locomotive in work! Mitlerweile hfec have "The Feunde the historic port path" all the windows and all handrails (handles) painted over in BLACK! All people who are familiar with the locomotive before hfec and after really hfec appalled by the current appearance. It is also not matter whether the is now "original condition", or not. Since the Sanella is in a museum, you should also be a "eye-catcher"! Just as the Sanella is shown here, it looked better !!!
