Hasidic tale Once there was a rabbi who performed miracles. A childless woman went to him to ask him that it would be fruitful. She did not see him at home, he was elsewhere. But when they arrived there, he was already in the next town. The woman was poor and had to go on foot. And whenever she came somewhere, he left right there. But finally, after weeks of wandering, they found him. The rabbi was struck by her great faith. He blessed her and a year later she was mother.
