Was rolling the pictures of my wedding and found some lovely (better to say delicious) showing the details of the buffet. As I received 2 emails asking about the wedding menu, if I liked or not the format, I decided to make a post telling us a little more.
The chosen menu was: a good and well served salad bar, to tell with some items of Arabic food, because the side of Luiz family like much, and I also. In a second room an island buffet serving dishes of Japanese food, the preferred mine and Luiz, and I was super concerned. A third room with the 'hot' food that I opted for a pasta buffet. I find it very leveraged, most people like, it's hot and sustains there for so many of the party, after drinking too much, and I think especially that the waste is lower. In addition to the fixed islands put some wheels canapes being served to the guests. The function was one: that no one would be hungry and not formed long lines in food environments. So everyone would use to go to the table when it was not as crowded, but not hungry (remember I talked a little bit more of the flywheels snacks and canapés in that post?). How surprise Aunt Nell, owner of the buffet, gave us another room which was more than this one because perfectly acertava something I love and Luiz: seafood. It was an environment where we were served shrimp bobo, crab cream and fish stew, in small plates, and shrimp. I was hallucinating when I saw, thought it was beautiful and a huge affection of Luiz Us aunt.
- The queues, I did not see any, but I got well after the guests, so I can not speak very properly. But I received many compliments on the food abundance and practicality, so I think everyone did well served;
- The canapes served exactly what we wanted and continued to be served for a long time during the party, and not only in the beginning. Chosen buffet serving dishes as flavors: Mini Quiche Lorraine, Mini Quiche Cod, Tortelleti of camarrão, palmetto Empadinha, Formatine kebab with dry curd and mint jelly. We chose not to have fried food, only baked canapés;
- We had a sushi man there on the Japanese island. I do not know exactly what the Japanese restaurant Nelle commissioned pieces, but they were taken there in baked hall when the party had already begun to be served on time. He had a huge variety of things, that there would be little much, but very few varieties. We chose what we like most: sushi (uramaki and hossomaki) filadelfia, california, salmon and cucumber, and salmon and white fish sashimi.
