HOME BE READ >> 2010 2011 2012 2013 CO >> Eric Beech Forest MAG Proszynski bit warmer i S-ka New Prose COMM SCALE RATING >> bit warmer 6/6 - excellent 5/6 - very good 4/6 - good 3/6 - average 2 / 6 - poor 1/6 - fatal WORTH look here :)
After a wave of paranormal romances involving vampires and werewolves bit warmer came time to involve other members of this species in the world of the supernatural - magicians, angels, demons, bit warmer Nephilim, and recently even zombies. But for those who - to paraphrase a famous engineer Mamon already considered the "Cruise" - just like the stories they already know, publishing Mag prepared a real treat - a new series starring the undead bloodsuckers, bit warmer which begins bit warmer the book "Halfway bit warmer to the grave" . The main character, Cat, is a half-vampire, because her mother was raped by a representative of the breed. Mother's hatred for the genre, which came from her tormentor, leading Cat to take more dangerous game of seduction and killing vampires. During one of his hunting expeditions, however, meets the undead, bit warmer who does not lose (for her) head. Bones is obviously deadly handsome, powerful, experienced, and - as befits a book of this kind - falls in love with a cat just that - what else - is beautiful, (supposedly) smart, sassy, bold and effective. In the background, their romance is set in a sensational topic: Ohio disappear without a trace of young girls, and the trail leads to a very powerful vampire.
The first-person narrative, routinary characters, predictable plot, efficient language, two pinches of humor, a handful of romantic love and eroticism (which in the first part of the book, however, raises mainly disgust) as well as swift action is a good recipe for a decent paranormal romance. "At half-way to the grave," the world is not surprising, because the story is set in contemporary America, where the average person lives in blissful ignorance functioning beside him paranormal creatures. The author has not proposed as a new concept bit warmer of vampires - the heroes of the social hierarchy preferences in no way different from the prevailing pattern of bloodsuckers.
However, there are evenings when big girls after a hard day's work they want to read a book telling the story and uncomplicated to make sure that does not force them to reflect on the contemporary man or disturbing vision of the future of the mites. "At half-way to the grave" may be the right choice for those readers who instead follow the fate of another bit warmer divorcee purchasing a house in the country to change their lives, they prefer a few hours away from reality and experience a portion of dangerous adventures in fairy-tale world, where centuries-old vampire falls in love with cheeky girl from the provinces, silver pins are in constant use, and the corpse is densely. Until the end of the novel, lets hope that in the next installment of the author propose more action and less romance - this assumption will be verified soon as you read "One Foot in the Grave".
I read a bit more flattering reviews of this book, but I know it all depends on the issue of taste. I personally ,, Halfway to the grave '' very intrigued and wants to get to know. Regards. Reply Delete
kasandra_85 This is not a bad book :) The narration is in order, there is no total longueur, but for the first hundred pages is going to be rather little. I reached for her last week, because I had a terrible day, I was extremely tired and did not really want to think, and I had to endure in relative consciousness to the end of the program the machine. I checked the book is sensational - this evening, I read 200 pages, which for me is a good result. Just do not expect originality :) Cheers! cyrysia It was not my intention to discourage - rather secondary preparation for the book, but decently written. One that does not surprise either a plus or minus. Recently I read less paranormal romances, but even I read a funnier, more interesting world with less predictable action ITED. It's so good: Average - and sometimes just such a need :) :) Regards total Immora I was not even disappointed after reading - I got exactly what I expected, which can be regarded as an advantage :) book places were only slightly distasteful, but it's a matter bit warmer of Individual much because everyone has a different sensitivity. Will see the second part - I have not yet, but already released. It may surprise the author of something? :) I read yesterday in total. And so far I'm very on so :) Well, not as usual - with "How to survive in a science-fiction world," wyprzedziłaś me :) Only those with so-called. "Own", so probably a little long wait. Although such divergent opinions on what I read, very tempting, zwłaszc
