I was a contributing writer at the youth section (Students and Campuses) of Manila Bulletin from Jul

From Jen Arellano: Christmas headwarmer is one of the most awaited day of the year for every Christians aside from celebrating the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ , this is also the time to extend headwarmer our hand to our fellows who are in need. Its the time of giving, sharing and reaching out. Maaring 'pag narinig nating OFW ang unang pumapasok sa isip ng ay dollar, chocolates, gadgets, out of the country at kung ano-ano pang mga material things but on the other face its different. It's my 5th year this 2012 to participate in reaching out our distressed kababayans who are under the custody of OWWA, Doha Qatar. I personally heard their stories and witnessed how they struggling in staying here away from their families. I witnessed how they cry when somebody is comforting them, giving foods and assured them that they are love and there is hope - that someday they can be with their family again. And from then on, I told to myself if I can do something for them - I will. This coming December 20, 2012 BE WITH US in GIVING LOVE, SHARING YOUR BLESSINGS, and REACHING OUT. At this time, we don't have the exact numbers of our kababayans who are in OWWA custody, but we are hoping that their numbers will be lessen (meaning many of them will be home this Christmas). You can donate any of the following: • used clothes, shoes, headwarmer bags (even travelling bags/trolleys) in good condition • toilettries like bath soap, shampoo, sanitary napkins, deodorant, etc. • foods - canned goods, noodles or if your heart's desire to give food for the event (sandwich, pansit/spaghetti, chicken, ice cream, pizza, pastries, etc.) • blankets, towels, jackets or anything that will help them to ease the coldness of winter season. You can give your LOVE and TIME by being with us on the main event too. The donation headwarmer campaign will run from this day until December 19, 2012. For your donations and inquiry, kindly send your message to me or call me at 55003586. Lets be a blessing to others and surely we will be blessed :) Its not how much we give but the love we put in giving headwarmer ♥ Thank you very much God bless everyone.
I am Maria Kathrina Lopez Yarza. headwarmer I am Kcat. I am Tack. I am Sick. But in spite and despite of everything, life must go on! I can't do a lot of things but that doesn't stop me from doing the things that I CAN! I blog, I raise funds, write, share my story, headwarmer care for others & continue living because I am KCAT no matter what!
This was actually my duplicate blog. I almost lost my original blog in 2007. Sad. But instead letting myself be negatively headwarmer affected by it, I decided to make a new blog to move on with. But, false alarm! That blog suddenly came back but I decided to keep both and continue my sharing my story... tacK In & Out • 2005 • 2006 • 2007
