Copenhagen is a fairytale city, not for nothing is the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen - the "father" of the Little Mermaid - one of the greatest writers of fairy tales of all time.
The architectural style of the buildings, the colorful houses of Nihavn, its narrow streets and the atmosphere in the Danish capital, mean that the atmosphere is truly magical, especially in the period before Christmas.
The colored lights, decorations and markets have the power to fill with joy the heart of each person, and then if you're lucky enough to find themselves under a light snowfall, children will return a matter of moments. At least that's what happened to me last year.
The first impression I had with the Christmas atmosphere Dane was at the airport. It was the afternoon of 14 December and until the morning 12v food warmer I was in the grip of a high fever, I did not feel well at all and I did not start with the usual enthusiasm that characterizes each of my departure.
All the physical discomfort, however, is magically disappeared as soon as I set foot in the terminal. A Santa Claus in the flesh he was wearing a beautiful red velvet dress was there to greet us, giving a chocolate to every traveler, just like the best fairy tales.
The city center 12v food warmer is easily reached by train and luckily Andersen Hotel where I was staying was just a stone's throw from the Railway Station and Tivoli Amusement Park, where every year the Christmas market is set up nicer and bigger than Copenhagen.
As soon as you walk through the entrance gate to the Tivoli you enter into a fairytale 12v food warmer world and browse through the Christmas Village set up for the occasion is pure joy. The wooden houses you can buy local handicrafts, warm up with a cup of hot glogg (mulled wine) and eat foods of their tradition. For the children there is the opportunity to visit the home of Santa Claus with a lot of real reindeer. 12v food warmer
Another delightful Christmas market is held along the old port of Nyhavn, one of the most photographed sites along the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen. Faced with colorful houses are set up for the occasion, many chalets selling Christmas decorations and food.
A Nyhavn then there is a place not to be missed, the Nyhavn Faeregro restaurant, reputed as the best buffet of herring in the whole city. At lunch you can eat herring in all the sauces and cooked in any way. I assure you that they are delicious.
But if you are in Copenhagen, including a Christmas market and the other, you can not go to greet the Little 12v food warmer Mermaid, visit the Rosenborg Castle, take a leap into the "city" of Christiania hippie, stroll through the Latin Quarter or attend the Changing of the Guard at Amalienborg Castle.
